We are seeking an Aboriginal Health Practitioner to join our team at Blacktown Hospital. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving birthing experiences and outcomes for Aboriginal women and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide flexible, holistic, and culturally sensitive antenatal and postnatal support to Aboriginal women and their families">
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate integrated care for Aboriginal people">
  • Liaise with other health professionals and external agencies to promote improved health outcomes for Aboriginal communities">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Certificate IV in Aboriginal Health Care (Practice)">
  • Current Registration with AHPRA as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner">
  • Evidence of Aboriginality">
  • Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal women, families, and children">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative">
