Pediatric Speech Pathology Leader

SA Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Pathology Leader to join our team at Flinders Medical Centre. As a key member of the Women's and Children's Division, you will play a crucial role in planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating pediatric speech pathology services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide acute speech pathology assessment and management of complex clinical cases, utilizing instrumental investigations as necessary
- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operation of pediatric speech pathology services
- Provide advice on professional service development, practice, and redesign in response to demand and client needs
- Offer clinical supervision, mentoring, and training to other team members
- Participate in teaching and training of speech pathology students on clinical placement
We are looking for an experienced pediatric speech pathologist with skills in clinical management of pediatric feeding and dysphagia. Key qualifications include:
- Ability to lead and work effectively within a team
- Capacity to work under pressure, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality and safe care consistent with national standards
- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification giving eligibility for full membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia
