The Student Engagement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the student recruitment team, providing essential administrative and operational support to ensure prospective students receive timely, accurate and helpful information throughout the enquiry and enrolment process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate administrative support across multiple university partners.
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospective students by managing shared inboxes and responding to SMS campaigns.
  • Assist with outreach to leads who have paused or disengaged to encourage re-engagement.
  • Support the enrolment team with call tasks, chat inquiries, and lead follow-up.
  • Ensure student data is accurately maintained in internal systems and CRMs.

Student engagement coordinators will work closely with various stakeholders to provide a seamless student experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor degree or working towards a tertiary qualification.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service or support, sales support, or education-related field (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Preferred: familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Client service-oriented with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to relate well to others with integrity, confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
