Job Title: School Support Officer

About the Role:
This position is responsible for ensuring student wellbeing by monitoring behaviour, providing supervision, and supporting students with disciplinary processes. The successful candidate will also participate in regular monitoring, evaluation, and data analysis to improve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor students during school hours, including uniform compliance, truancy, and behaviour management
  • Provide supervision and feedback to students through detentions and progress reports
  • Obtain Student Statements for disciplinary processes and support students under the School Responsible Behaviour plan and Student Code of Conduct
  • Participate in programs to supervise students, working closely with teachers and department heads
  • Refer students to relevant staff members for further support
  • Maintain quality in performance, adhering to methods, guidelines, and procedures while seeking improvements
