Dispute Resolution Professional

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join our team and take on a challenging position as a Dispute Resolution Specialist. As a member of our retail banking team, you will be instrumental in managing risk and ensuring exceptional customer service.

You will lead investigations and analysis of disputes in line with regulatory requirements and collaborate with various teams across the business to share accurate and timely information. Your communication skills will enable you to draft precise documentation and convey case information clearly to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage dispute cases raised to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) for banking products.
  • Investigate and analyze disputes in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Draft written dispute submissions and document production at each stage of AFCA's process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely information is shared.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to achieve positive solutions.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience managing disputes, particularly within financial services.
  • An inquisitive mindset and ability to investigate cases thoroughly.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
  • Familiarity with similar banking products is advantageous but not essential.
