Rehabilitation Consultant Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical reasoning skills to support the rehabilitation of ADF personnel who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply clinical reasoning skills to develop and implement rehabilitation plans
  • Perform assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including employees, medical specialists, treatment providers and allied health professionals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams
  • Occupational rehabilitation experience highly regarded
