Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to join our team at Hudson Australia. As a key member of our Government and Public Relationships team, you will play a critical role in shaping social licensing strategies and managing community consultation to ensure successful outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Licensing Strategy: Assist in developing strategies to identify and address resistance and impediments within communities, ensuring that our clients' interests are represented and protected.
  • Community Consultation: Provide expert advice and support in the creation and implementation of community consultation plans, engaging with local government, Indigenous communities, and broader communities to build trust and foster positive relationships.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead forums and engage with senior stakeholders and communities to address concerns, ensuring positive outcomes and developing mitigation strategies that meet the needs of all parties involved.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proven experience in engaging with local government, Indigenous communities, and broader communities, particularly in areas of resistance.
  • Demonstrated experience in senior stakeholder management and government engagement, with a strong understanding of the complexities of social licensing and community consultation.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively, and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Essential Requirements:

  • Australian citizen
  • NV1 security clearance
  • Ability to pass the ASA Suitability Assessment
  • Willingness to travel interstate if required
