Project Operations Manager Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to lead automation initiatives within a newly created project-focused role.

The successful candidate will manage end-to-end implementation of ASRS and AGV systems powered by Dematic and E80 technologies, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Automation Projects: Manage the implementation of automation solutions, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Drive Operational Integration: Collaborate with warehouse teams to embed automation into daily workflows, develop SOPs, and ensure safety and compliance.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Monitor performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement system enhancements.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Act as the key liaison between internal teams, technology partners, and senior leadership.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5+ years' leadership experience in automation systems.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and system integration.
  • High level of IT literacy and experience with system integration.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
