About the Role

A new opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Client Growth Manager to join our Melbourne-based team at Bank of Queensland Specialist.

This key role involves originating, retaining, and managing a portfolio of clients for either the Corporate Health or Property segment ($10M+), leveraging expertise in business development and relationship management.

As a Client Growth Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Promoting commercial product offerings to core clients, assessing financial situations, and developing tailored solutions;
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding individual margin and volume targets, with a strong focus on book growth;
  • Driving direction and performance through client acquisition, volume/margin, and primary client relationship and satisfaction;
  • Partnering with Associate Relationship Managers to develop ongoing and quality client relationships;
  • Managing relationships with clients, utilizing internal resources to maximize client satisfaction and retention;
  • Working with clients' accountants to understand financial objectives and implementing plans to realize these objectives.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in commercial lending, working on larger, more complex deals;
  • Experience in business development and relationship building;
  • Background in either the Health or Property commercial banking industry;
  • A passion for business development and relationship building;
  • Tertiary education desirable;
  • Ability to meet KPI targets.
