Job Overview

The role of the senior application specialist involves supporting the daily operations of clinical systems and IT applications. This includes ensuring optimal system performance, managing enhancements, and contributing to the review and maintenance of processes, tools, and standards.

  • Leverage technical expertise to resolve complex tickets and mentor junior analysts in resolving simpler issues, thereby meeting defined key performance indicators and service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level support for clinical and IT systems with GxP categorization, adhering to company-defined service level agreements across various shifts and geographical regions.

  • Manage user access and roles for clinical and IT systems, ensuring compliance with applicable Novotech SOPs.
  • Deliver comprehensive training on clinical IT systems and applications to users worldwide, serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with vendors and Novotech IT to implement maintenance changes and upgrades.
  • Lead and execute UAT testing for system upgrades and releases in conjunction with Clinical Systems, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Establish new projects, configure system-specific templates, and set up workflows and lookup tables.
  • Extract relevant data from databases using SQL queries to generate reports tailored to study or user requirements.
