About the Role

As a Journey Expert in our Home Loans Portfolio, you'll play a pivotal role in helping customers achieve their dream of owning a home. You'll be responsible for managing the Home Loans business area, ensuring that our products and services meet the evolving needs of our customers.

This role requires a unique blend of business analysis skills, project delivery experience, and a deep understanding of the home lending domain. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, gather requirements, and develop solutions that drive customer value.

As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our Home Loans business, working on initiatives that drive growth, improve customer outcomes, and enhance our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze business needs, gathering requirements and developing solutions that drive customer value
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop process maps
  • Collaborate with data analysts to gather and analyze data, informing business decisions and driving process improvements
  • Engage with stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle, sharing updates, seeking feedback, and responding to feedback
  • Ensure potential and active risks and issues are captured, assessed, managed, and mitigated in a timely manner
  • Work with squads and stakeholders to translate high-level goals into detailed plans, business impacts, communications, and change interventions
What We're Looking For
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in business analysis, project delivery, or a related field
  • Exposure to home lending, credit policies, or related financial services domains and systems
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of process mapping/analysis tools and techniques
  • Proactively identifying and assessing risks and complying with risk management processes and policies
  • Experience in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to apply change management practices, communicate direction, rationale, and outcomes clearly
  • Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and influencing skills
  • Ability to solve problems through drawing on past experiences and applying judgment within your skill set
  • An eye for detail and a willingness to iteratively improve precision and clarity
  • Familiarity with agile delivery, business/technical requirements, and assessing changes to systems or process functions
  • A strong execution mindset and ability to deliver quality outputs within required timeframes
