About the Role

As a Journey Expert in our Home Loans Portfolio, you'll play a key role in helping customers achieve their dream of owning a home. You'll work closely with our teams to provide easy-to-use products and services, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and support the scope and capacity to deliver each deliverable, providing inputs into the overall delivery roadmap and plan.
  • Gather and translate business needs into consumable requirements, leading or supporting elicitation workshops, analysis, specification, and validation of requirements.
  • Identify and analyze impacted business processes, understanding as-is and to-be processes, and creating new or updating existing process maps using Signavio.
  • Undertake analysis with stakeholders to comprehend problem statements, deliver, and playback future state options where MVP/iterations have been defined.
  • Source and utilize data to validate assumptions throughout and after delivery, seeking guidance and support from Data Analysts when required.
  • Engage with stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle, sharing updates, seeking feedback, and responding to feedback.
  • Ensure potential and active risks and issues are captured, assessed, managed, and mitigated in a timely manner.
  • Work with squads and stakeholders to translate high-level goals into detailed plans, business impacts, communications, Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and change interventions, then prepare and execute on those plans.
  • Plan, facilitate, and manage/support testing activity for deliverables, such as UAT, BVT, and DRH.
  • Create and maintain supporting materials, including Knowledge Management Guides, Process Maps, Business Impact Assessment (BIA), Operational Risk Assessment (ORA), and Product Variation Document.
What We're Looking For
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience demonstrating proven business analysis skills and/or other related project delivery experience, including analysis and elicitation techniques.
  • Exposure to home lending, credit policies, or related financial services domains and systems.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of process mapping/analysis tools and techniques.
  • Proactively identifying and assessing risks and complying with risk management processes and policies.
  • Experience in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to apply change management practices, communicate direction, rationale, and outcomes clearly, and a continuous improvement approach based on feedback loops.
  • Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and influencing skills – you need to be comfortable asking questions, raising concerns, and constantly thinking about our customers.
  • Ability to solve problems through drawing on past experiences and applying judgment within your skill set.
  • An eye for detail – as a member of a team responsible for analysis and writing requirements, your willingness to iteratively improve precision and clarity is paramount.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery, business/technical requirements, and assessing changes to systems or process functions.
  • A strong execution mindset and ability to deliver quality outputs within required timeframes.
  • Ability to learn on the job, navigate through ambiguity, and a demonstrated growth mindset.
