About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Customer Banking Specialist to join our team in the Southland Branch.

You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing financial solutions, and building strong relationships with our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Have in-depth conversations with customers to understand their banking needs.
  • Support customers with enquiries, account maintenance, and credit product applications.
  • Complete Financial Health Checks to assess customers' financial needs.
  • Educate customers on our in-branch technology and digital banking options.
  • Problem solve and provide effective solutions while championing our risk-adverse culture.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in delivering exceptional customer service in a financial services, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate financial terms clearly.
  • The ability to ask questions, find solutions, act with integrity, and prioritize customer needs.
  • Ability to work in a busy, commercially driven retail environment.
  • A genuine interest in building a career with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
