Customer Banking Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Customer Banking Specialist to join our Retail Banking Services team at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
As a Customer Banking Specialist, you will be the public face of our bank, delivering a seamless banking experience to our customers. You will have in-depth conversations with customers to understand their banking needs and provide tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have in-depth conversations with customers to understand their banking needs
- Support customers with enquiries, maintenance on accounts, and process applications for credit products
- Complete Financial Health Checks to assess customers' financial needs and identify any changes
- Provide options for customers through education and demonstration of our in-branch technology and digital banking options
- Problem solve and provide effective solutions while championing our processes and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service in a financial services, retail, or hospitality environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate financial terms in a clear way
- The ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, act with integrity, and place the customer at the centre of everything you do
- Ability to work in a busy, commercial, and driven retail environment while seeing the big picture for customers and providing them with holistic solutions
- A genuine interest in building a career with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and improving the financial wellbeing and lives of our customers
