About the Position

This position is an exciting opportunity to join our Education Team. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with School Leadership and other team members to develop and implement EAL/D programs across Primary Schools.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement curriculum requirements and support students with diverse language needs.
  • Design and deliver professional learning opportunities to build teacher capacity.
  • Coordinate assessment and data collection processes to inform teaching practices.
  • Support students through collaborative planning, co-teaching, and student learning plans.

This role requires a deep understanding of EAL/D pedagogy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implementing curriculum requirements and supporting EAL/D students.
  • Developing and delivering professional learning opportunities.
  • Coordinating assessment and data collection processes.
  • Supporting students through collaborative planning and student learning plans.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Postgraduate TESOL qualification (desirable).
  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K – 6.
  • Accredited Level B to teach Religious Education.
  • NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
