Career Opportunities for Experienced EAL/D Teachers

This role offers an exciting chance to work with students who speak English as a second or additional language, supporting their learning needs and promoting academic success.
The successful applicant will have significant experience in curriculum design and delivery, with a strong understanding of EAL/D pedagogical practices. They will be able to collaborate with the school leadership team and other educators to implement effective teaching strategies.
In this role, you will design and facilitate professional learning opportunities to build teacher capacity. You will also support EAL/D students' learning needs through collaborative planning, co-teaching, and student learning plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the School Leadership Team and CEDoW EAL/D Officers to implement EAL/D Management Plan responsibilities.
- Design and facilitate professional learning opportunities to build teacher capacity.
- Support EAL/D students' learning needs through collaborative planning, co-teaching, and student learning plans.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Postgraduate TESOL qualification (desirable).
- Accredited Level B to teach Religious Education.
- NESA accreditation to teach in NSW.
