About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in driving cultural transformation, embedding best practice HR, and ensuring alignment with business strategy. You'll lead a small HR team on-site and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, people-first solutions across ER/IR, workforce planning, talent management, and culture development.

  • Strategically partner with site leadership to deliver HR solutions that support operational goals.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
  • Drive culture and engagement initiatives aligned to the company's core values and framework.
  • Oversee ER/IR matters including Enterprise Agreement negotiations and union engagement.
  • Implement HR strategies, frameworks, and metrics that drive performance and accountability.
  • Provide coaching to senior leaders and build capability across departments.
About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in a senior HR role, ideally in mining, construction, manufacturing, or other heavy industries.
  • Strong ER/IR expertise, including enterprise bargaining and union interaction.
  • Proven leadership experience – able to coach, mentor and drive performance in teams.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading cultural transformation and employee engagement initiatives.
  • A strategic mindset with hands-on operational execution.
