Job Title: Lead Project Specialist for Energy Storage Systems
At the forefront of renewable energy, we seek an experienced professional to oversee and optimize large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project execution from scope definition to commissioning, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Apply engineering principles and consult subject matter experts to drive project success through issue resolution and effective communication.
- Coordinate equipment specification, including transformers, switchgear, and protection solutions, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Plan, lead, and coordinate project commissioning activities, emphasizing safety and quality.
- Review project documents, including design specifications, layouts, and test reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, facilitating knowledge sharing and improvement initiatives.
- Enhance internal processes and products through constructive feedback and collaborative efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power System Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in project design, preferably in large power stations, PV, or utility-scale power projects.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in BESS or PV projects is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with a strong background in data analysis and presentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PE certification or equivalent is highly valued.
- Familiarity with permitting processes and local regulations is beneficial.
- A passion for renewable energy and innovation is essential.
Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 30%, for meetings and site visits.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
