Renewable Energy Project Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Project Development Specialist to play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development stage of multiple renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development phase of renewable energy projects, including solar, BESS, and potentially wind projects.
  • Oversee project planning, permitting, and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, landowners, and contractors.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to identify suitable project locations.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Ensure projects meet all technical, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates to senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy project development, with a focus on solar and BESS.
  • Preferably, experience with wind energy projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
