Work Placement Coordinator

About the Role

This is a pivotal position in our organization responsible for coordinating work placements for students in various fields.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to manage multiple stakeholders, and possess a deep understanding of educational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely placement of students with appropriate work placement hosts.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with host organizations.
  • Provide ongoing support and conduct regular check-ins during placements.
  • Allocate workplace assessor visits to evaluate student placement experiences.
  • Deliver placement orientation workshops to students.
  • Ensure that all placement documentation is returned and compliant with required regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV or higher qualification (preferred).
  • Previous experience in placing students within the VET and Higher Education sectors.
  • Strong administrative skills.
