The Placement Coordinator role is a pivotal position within the School of Psychology, responsible for coordinating and administering student placements across accredited psychology programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer student placements to ensure academic and professional standards are met.
- Provide high-quality individual and group clinical supervision to postgraduate trainees.
- Support and train external placement supervisors.
- Contribute to student teaching.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent coordination and administration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build relationships with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
In addition, you will have a sound understanding of psychology education and training, as well as experience in clinical supervision and teaching.
