About the Role

School Crossing Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our community. During school terms, they are responsible for assisting school children and other pedestrians at established children's crossings and traffic lights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist school children and other pedestrians at designated crossings and traffic lights.
  • Lift, utilise and operate safety equipment within defined standards to ensure clear visibility for both motorists and pedestrians.
  • Demonstrate good judgement and road sense, with strong knowledge of the Australian road rules.
  • Familiarise yourself with Safe Work Procedures to ensure community safety.
  • Be punctual, reliable and available to work shifts, including mornings, afternoons or both.
