Job DescriptionThis Permanent Part Time School Crossing Supervisor role requires you to assist school children and other pedestrians at established children's crossings and traffic lights during school terms. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional service to the community while ensuring safe crossing conditions.
- Lifting, utilizing, and operating safety equipment within defined standards.
- Exhibiting good judgement and road sense while adhering to Australian road rules.
- Fostering a culture of safety and excellence among colleagues and stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of working in similar roles or experience in traffic safety or working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
- Strong knowledge of Safe Work Procedures and the ability to adhere to them.
