This role is designed to provide mental health assessment, treatment and counselling for individuals residing in rural communities. The focus is on timely and effective services for mental illness, psychosocial distress and suicidality.

  • Demonstrated experience in evidence-based treatment techniques and assessment procedures.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with intermediate computer skills.
  • Understanding of recovery model and patient-centred care principles.
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment with mutual respect.
  • Current NSW driver's licence.
