Job Title: Complex Care Rural Clinician

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rural setting as a mental health professional providing timely and effective care to individuals residing in Broken Hill and surrounding communities.

About the Role
  • The role involves providing comprehensive mental health assessment, treatment, and counseling services to individuals in need.
  • You will work in a multidisciplinary adult mental health and drug and alcohol setting, utilizing evidence-based treatment techniques and assessment procedures to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and provide support to clients, promoting seamless service delivery and improved patient experiences.
Requirements
  • A recognized degree in psychology, social work, or occupational therapy with eligibility for NSW Registration/Professional Association where relevant.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary adult mental health and drug and alcohol setting, demonstrating expertise in delivering high-quality mental health services.
  • Excellent networking skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholder groups, fostering strong partnerships and collaborations that enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
