Craft Beer Sales Consultant

A Sales Consultant is tasked with driving sales, providing sales support, and managing operations to ensure a consistent product offering and alignment with the objectives of Cavbeer products within the designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Generate new business opportunities while fostering strong customer relationships and enhancing the company's reputation.
  2. Prepare accurate quote documentation with competitive pricing for all existing and potential clients.
  3. Ensure proper product rotation and adherence to code policies.
  4. Facilitate the successful sale, distribution, and placement of all Cavbeer products.
  5. Assist in showcasing merchandise during peak seasonal launches for retail chains.
  6. Support all resets of chain store layouts.
  7. Help in organizing, setting up, and dismantling all special events and festivals.
  8. Focus on promoting products and/or increasing the variety of product lines in retail accounts.
  9. Identify potential accounts that are not currently customers and strategize to establish business relationships with them.
  10. Conduct beer tastings, dinners, and other promotional events regularly or as needed.
  11. Provide coverage for Sales Representatives during their absence.
  12. Stay informed about company initiatives and industry developments.
  13. Maintain check-in sheets and manage all invoicing.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Ensure effective collection of accounts receivable in accordance with corporate credit policies.
  16. Address customer inquiries related to credit, delivery, product details, and other questions as they arise.
  17. Achieve monthly objectives related to business activities.
  18. Maintain a consistent schedule of weekly meetings with accounts in the assigned region.
  19. Participate in monthly District Sales Manager meetings.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Cavbeer products.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, at a high school level or above.
  • Thorough understanding of traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers and decimals.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Capability to work independently.
  • Ability to process information and merchandise efficiently.
  • Professional communication with supervisors, Sales Representatives, and customers.
  • Competence in reading, counting, and writing to accurately complete documentation.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to read maps and utilize GPS technology.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends for special events.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands for handling objects, reach with arms, climb, and communicate.
  • Ability to operate necessary equipment for order fulfillment.
  • Capability to handle products weighing several pounds.
  • Ability to bend and stoop as needed.
  • Professional communication with supervisors and customers.
  • Ability to read, count, and write accurately for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to drive a vehicle safely.
