The Crafty Pint is seeking an experienced brewer to join our team in Melbourne. As a brewer, you will be responsible for all aspects of the brewing process, from grain to glass.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wort Production: Develop and implement brewing recipes to create high-quality craft beers.
  • Brewhouse Operation: Ensure the brewhouse is operating efficiently and effectively, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • CIP & Sanitation: Perform regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment to maintain a high level of quality and hygiene.
  • Recipe Development: Collaborate with the Head Brewer to develop new recipes and experiment with new ingredients and techniques.
  • General Warehousing: Assist with the storage and organization of ingredients, equipment, and finished products.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum one year of commercial brewery experience.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a small team and independently.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work around changing production schedules and adapt to new situations.
