- Prepare accurate pricing quotes for both current and potential clients.
- Ensure proper product rotation and adherence to coding policies.
- Facilitate the successful sale, distribution, and placement of all Cavalier products.
- Assist in the merchandising of products during peak seasonal launches for retail chains.
- Support the reorganization of chain store layouts.
- Participate in the setup and breakdown of special events and festivals.
- Focus on increasing product sales and expanding the variety of product lines in retail accounts.
- Identify potential customers and devise strategies to engage them.
- Conduct beer tastings, dinners, and promotional events regularly or as needed.
- Provide coverage for Sales Representatives during their absence.
- Stay informed about company developments and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate check-in records and invoices.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective collection of accounts receivable in line with corporate credit policies.
- Address customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product details, and other questions as they arise.
- Achieve monthly objectives related to business activities.
- Maintain a consistent schedule of weekly meetings with accounts in the assigned region.
- Attend monthly meetings with the District Sales Manager.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Cavalier Distributing products.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English at a high school level is required.
- Comprehensive understanding of traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers and decimals.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Capability to work independently.
- Ability to process information and merchandise efficiently.
- Professional communication with supervisors, Sales Representatives, and customers.
- Competence in reading, counting, and writing to accurately complete documentation.
- Possession of a valid, unexpired driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to read maps and use GPS devices.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends for special events.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands for handling objects, reach with arms, climb, and communicate.
- Ability to operate necessary equipment for order fulfillment.
- Capability to handle products typically weighing several pounds.
- Ability to bend and stoop.
- Professional communication with supervisors and customers.
- Ability to read, count, and write accurately for documentation.
- Ability to drive a vehicle.
