Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our staff.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years' experience in a desktop support environment, preferably within an online business. You will possess excellent customer service skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and manage your own time and workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical assistance and support to all staff members
  • Setting up new users with IT accounts and appropriate technical equipment
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues via the internal ticketing system
  • Coordinating hardware repairs and purchases
  • Maintaining an asset register of all technical equipment
  • Rolling out global technical projects within the company

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Windows desktop (Windows 7, Windows 8.x, 10), MacOSX and ChromeOS
  • Applications - Google apps, Atlassian products (Jira, Hipchat and Wiki), OKTA, Jamf
  • Server - Windows 2008/12 (AD and Associated services)
  • Hosting - Amazon Web Services, Google platform for enterprise
  • Salesforce (desired but not essential)
  • Powershell scripting (desired but not essential)
