We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Professional to join our team at Keith Turnbull Place Aged Care facility in Labrador.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to maintain the facility and its surroundings. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with general maintenance of the property, ensuring all equipment is secure and properly maintained.

- Manage waste disposal by loading, positioning, and cleaning refuse bins.

- Maintain schedules for routine checks and ensure all tasks are completed on time.

- Perform driving duties of Ozcare vehicles as required.

- Undertake courier and delivery tasks as needed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Certificate III or equivalent experience in a related area and/or a trade qualification in the building industry (e.g., Carpentry/building).

- Be vaccinated against Influenza and have at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

- Current Police Screening Certificate.

- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.

- Demonstrated experience in stock management.

- Good computer and mobile device skills.
