We're a physical embodiment of protecting, conserving, and celebrating Environmental, Built and Cultural heritage. We seek a motivated Casual Grounds and Facility Officer to join our Visitors Services Team.
Job Description:
Maintain paths, grounds, and public areas including paved pathways, wastebaskets, and restrooms. Provide customer service, respond to guests and special cleaning requests, and offer helpful information about facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of 4km of paved pathways, public areas, and facilities
- Providing customer service and responding to guest requests
- Offering helpful information about facilities and services
Requirements:
- Experience in similar roles with ability to work productively within a team
- Physical fitness for walking long distances, carrying heavy loads, emptying bins, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to adhere to WHS guidelines/policies and practices
- Manual Driver's licence and/or First Aid qualifications desirable
