About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity to join our team as a Governance Support Specialist. As part of our Secretariat function, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality administrative and governance support to our Boards and Committees.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the end-to-end Board and Committee meeting processes, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our governing bodies. This includes coordinating agendas and meetings, managing actions, and maintaining compliance with governing documents.

You will also be responsible for maintaining our meeting calendars and planners, as well as supporting the preparation and lodgement of corporate documents and reporting.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in company secretarial practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Executive Leadership Team and key stakeholders, providing guidance and support on governance requirements.

  • Facilitate Board and Committee meeting processes, including coordination of agendas and meetings.
  • Maintain meeting calendars and planners.
  • Support the preparation and lodgement of corporate documents and reporting.
  • Provide governance support to the Deputy Company Secretary and Company Secretary.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, governance or other business-related discipline preferred.
  • Demonstrated company secretarial experience and knowledge of company secretarial practices.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a busy and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
