  • Job Summary

The role of Strategic Governance Manager is a new position that will help ensure effective executive governance arrangements are in place within the organization. The role will oversee the range of complex and high-profile policy and programs being delivered across the group.


About The Role

This position will assist in establishing more structured and strategic group governance arrangements, supporting appropriate strategic planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement frameworks. The successful candidate will report to the Executive Manager and manage a small team.


The organization has recently realigned its structure, including establishing a new unit focused on strategic coordination. This change aims to ensure efficient delivery of government priorities, enhance accountability, and improve mobility across all divisions.


This role will play a key part in identifying and developing governance approaches and processes, building on existing work. It will also take on responsibilities for existing processes, including budget management and risk assessment. The position will lead the consideration of a stakeholder engagement framework across the organization, including pending executive decisions and the implementation of an agreed approach.


About You

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with experience in strategic governance and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities and be able to work independently.
