Effective Group Governance Lead

The role of a Strategic Governance Specialist is crucial to the success of an organization's Executive Coordination and Corporate Services division. This position ensures that effective governance arrangements are in place to oversee complex policies and programs.
About The RoleThis specialist will be responsible for establishing structured and strategic group governance arrangements, supporting frameworks for budget planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. The position reports to the Executive Manager, Strategic Coordination and manages a small team.
Given the recent realignment of the organization's structure to ensure effective delivery of government priorities, enhance accountability and efficiency across divisions, this position will lead the consideration of a stakeholder engagement framework, identify and develop governance approaches, and take on responsibilities for existing processes including budget management and risk management.
About YouTo excel in this role, you will need strong strategic governance experience, excellent stakeholder engagement and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and provide group-wide leadership.
