
Family Crisis Intervention Specialist

The Support Coordinator role is a vital position that offers essential support to families in crisis. Working closely with police and child protection officers, this permanent full-time opportunity involves delivering critical interventions on weekdays at the Armadale Police Station.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake assessments and provide timely interventions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop customized goal plans with clients to achieve their objectives in line with established protocols.
- Conduct reflective practice and deliver high-quality report writing using analytical reasoning.
- Support, mentor, and work alongside colleagues.
- Engage and maintain professional relationships with clients, and their wider formal and informal networks.
- Relevant qualifications in a related field at degree, diploma, or certificate level/less formal qualification with relevant experience.
- Personalized goal planning skills that contribute to client success.
- Skills in reflective practice and report writing.
- Ability to support and mentor staff members.
- Advanced computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and client reporting systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of diversity, gender, and social inclusion, particularly Aboriginal culture.
