About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Operations Manager to join our team at Prosa Ung. As a key member of our infrastructure management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our data centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data centre technicians and operators, and routinely reviewing the ticket queue for large events and address accordingly.
  • Guide, train, and educate data operations technicians on the best practices related to all service owner issues
  • Manage and deliver mid-size projects
  • Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs
  • Manage a diverse team of data technicians with varying skills
  • Maintain the on-call schedule coordinating absence and vacations
  • Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels
  • Write and deliver performance reviews for staff
  • Constantly improving all our processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • 4+ years people management experience with direct reports in an IT related field
  • 4+ years experience in managing IT systems
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of change concepts, problem and incident management
