About CDC Data Centres:

We are seeking a Design Manager to provide expertise and thought leadership in Data Centre design. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and governing the design process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Architectural and Engineering (A&E) consultants during design phases, ensuring timely production of technical drawings and documentation.
- Motivate internal and external design teams to meet deadlines and produce high-quality, clear documentation.
- Oversee third-party vendors and contractors across multiple design projects to ensure coordination.
- Collaborate with Customer teams to align expectations and meet project requirements.
- Review designs with stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes and reduce risks.
About You:
This opportunity would suit someone who comes from a design manager/ engineering based background with a desirable exposure/ qualification in building civil, structural architecture industries.
- Strong design, engineering, and analytical skills with attention to detail and innovation.
- Persistent and determined problem-solver, focused on delivering customer-centric outcomes.
- Understanding of the Building permit / consenting process.
- Effective team player with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Essential:
Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
