Senior Hr Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a confident and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our team as a key member of the Human Resources department. As an expert advisor, you will provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on HR and workplace matters
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution initiatives
  • Develop and maintain HR frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives
  • Deliver inductions, training, and awareness programs to staff to enhance their knowledge and skills
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and agreements that impact the organization

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field is advantageous but not essential
  • Previous HR generalist experience, ideally within blue-collar industries
  • Strong knowledge of Australian workplace legislation and compliance requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Proven ability to deliver training to groups and facilitate effective learning
