Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Fitter and Turner / Boiler Maker to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will perform various tasks to ensure the smooth execution of our construction projects.

  • Cutting, grinding and shaping metal and other materials
  • Interpreting diagrams, drawings, specifications and plans to determine suitable material and sequence of operations
  • Operating specialized tools and machinery
  • Assembling fabricated parts to produce products, tools and machines
  • Following safety protocols
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults with tools and machinery, and performing regular maintenance
  • Setting up tools and machinery for fabrication process, including guides, stops and other controls
  • Monitoring fabrication process and adjusting settings when necessary
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III in Engineering (preferable)
  • Valid construction induction (white card)
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to work independently, unsupervised and problem solve
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, be punctual and reliable
  • Have a positive attitude and take pride in your work
  • Be quality driven and competent to complete jobs according to plans and specifications

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $45.00 - $65.00 per hour and 40 hours of work per week. We also offer overtime pay and penalty rates.
