Job Profile Summary

Our organization seeks an experienced Communications and Public Affairs Professional to support its external relations efforts in Australia and New Zealand. This role will drive the performance planning and management activities, produce issue briefs and communication materials, facilitate key external events, and collaborate with local business representatives.

The ideal candidate will possess recognized experience in communications strategies, outstanding messaging skills, and a contemporary understanding of traditional and digital media channels. They will also have excellent stakeholder and representational skills, ability to prioritize and respond to dynamic situations, and capacity to balance critical thinking with tactical delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Steward the planning and quarterly review processes, ANZ issues landscape, stakeholder maps, and the ANZ communications campaign.
  • Draft and record issue briefs, stakeholder biographies, and business overviews for targeted engagement.
  • Support the production of communications and campaign materials, and the coordination of C&EA external events and conferences.
  • Engage with business representatives to ensure our advocacy is fit-for-purpose, aligned, and integrated.
  • Represent the organization at external events to engage key stakeholder groups and promote our publications.
