We are seeking a Senior Bridge Design Leader to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Victorian transport structures team, you will provide technical leadership and direction on design activities associated with transport structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, gantries, and tunnels.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead design teams and manage complex projects
  • Develop design criteria, calculations, plans, and specifications
  • Serve as a Proof Engineer for projects in Victoria and lead teams executing proof engineering services
  • Manage the development of structural asset management deliverables including reports, drawings, models, and specifications
  • Collaborate closely with local, national, and global teams to leverage expertise and deliver integrated solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline
  • Chartered membership of Engineers Australia (Structures) and listing on the National Engineering Register
  • Registered Professional Engineer Victoria (RPEV)
  • Ability and commitment to obtain Proof Engineer pre-qualification from the Victoria Department of Transport and Planning
  • 20+ years of structural engineering experience focused on bridges and transport structures, with strong consulting and project delivery background primarily in Melbourne and Victoria
