Senior Bridge Design Specialist

The role of Bridge Engineer is a challenging and rewarding position that involves working on all aspects of structural design with a focus on bridges. This includes designing bridge projects to meet program, scope, quality, and financial requirements while achieving positive design outcomes.
- This role encompasses working on various scales of bridge and other structural projects across the life cycle – concept, design & construction, management, assessment, and end of life.
- Key responsibilities include undertaking bridge inspection work at various locations around Australia and engaging with government clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to drive outstanding service delivery.
The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Bridge Engineering;
- Analysis experience with SpaceGASS (mandatory) and Midas Civil (preferred);
- Demonstrated experience in bridge design to AS5100;
- Experience in Road and/or Rail Bridge assessment and/or design;
- Ability to undertake Bridge Inspections and willingness to travel instate for up to 2 weeks if necessary;
- Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills;
- Able to work in Australia for at least the next 3 years using existing visa/residency arrangements.
