This hands-on role will see you design complex bridges and transport structures with limited supervision, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Lead technical delivery of bridge and transport structure projects, applying both standard and advanced engineering techniques
  • Develop design solutions, prepare drawings, calculations, and specifications for a variety of structural forms including reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and steel
  • Perform structural planning, analysis, and design for transport infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project success
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, fostering their technical growth

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years' professional experience in structural engineering, focusing on bridges, along with relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. Chartered membership of Engineers Australia and registration as a Professional Engineer in Victoria (RPEV) are also essential.
