Bridge Design Expertise

This role involves all aspects of structural design with a focus on bridges.

  • Designing bridge projects to meet program, scope, quality and financial requirements while achieving positive design outcomes;
  • Working on various scales of bridge and other structural projects across the life cycle – concept, design & construction, management, assessment and end of life;

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake comprehensive structural analysis for bridge projects;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver outstanding service delivery;

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering;
  • Minimum 2 years of Bridge Engineering experience;
  • Analysis experience with SpaceGASS (mandatory) and Midas Civil (preferred);
  • Demonstrated experience in bridge design to AS5100;
  • Experience in Road and/or Rail Bridge assessment and/or design;
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills;
