For over five decades, Edwards Lifesciences has been at the forefront of medical innovation, driven by a steadfast commitment to improving patient care. This unwavering dedication has led us to create smart technologies that empower clinicians to deliver better outcomes.
We are now embarking on an exciting new chapter as we transition to become an independent business. With this significant milestone comes immense opportunities for growth and development. As part of our journey, we seek an experienced Professional Education Manager to join our Critical Care team.
This key role will play a pivotal part in shaping our Professional & Clinical Education programs and strategies, focusing specifically on the Critical Care business unit. By developing overarching HCPs courses strategy and methodology, you will be responsible for selecting and qualifying vendors, managing key project targets, and delivering core curricula. Your expertise will also be instrumental in obtaining KOLs input and clinical assessments, as well as developing substantiation targets and overseeing approval of materials.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing tactics (e.g., virtual symposiums, digital content) for large-scale programs that support the strategy and access new training methodologies as incorporated into product launches
- Identifying, engaging independently, and influencing KOLs to develop strategically aligned messages on our programs
- Creating and managing all product and/or program-related training documents and educational tools from program planning to execution
- Measuring effectiveness of educational tools, resources, and programs through post-meeting survey instruments, clinical field feedback, and KOL review, developing a plan to address concerns, and leading the implementation of solutions
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, marketing peers, and leaders to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to influence and guide stakeholders, consult in project settings, and adhere to company rules and requirements will be essential in achieving success.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in professional education and clinical education
- Related work experience in the medical devices industry is required; experience in the Critical Care business unit is an added advantage
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven successful organizational and project management skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, interpersonal relationship skills, including negotiating and relationship management skills, with the ability to drive achievement of objectives
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a dynamic and passionate individual eager to contribute to an innovative industry-leading advanced monitoring company, we invite you to explore our career opportunities.
