This role will drive scientific leadership in the Asia Pacific region for Moderna's infectious disease portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Scientific Leadership, you'll be responsible for assessing the external and internal environment and implementing strategic plans for regional scientific communications, cross-functional medical projects, and Asia Pacific congress activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage logistical support for Asia Pacific Medical Affairs scientific communication and conference plans
  • Provide scientific and technical input on the relevance/impact of data within Asia Pacific for COVID-19 vaccines and future vaccination programs
  • Partner with North American Brand Teams to implement regional scientific communication projects and processes
  • Produce and review medical affairs slide decks and evaluate the evolving scientific landscape
  • Stay informed on professional information and technology through conferences and/or medical literature

Requirements:

  • Bioscience degree (PhD preferred) and 3 years' experience preferably in vaccines or related fields
  • Collaboration and leadership skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of clinical trial methodology and local regulatory requirements
