Job Overview

As a seasoned supply chain professional, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing regional demand planning, supply planning, procurement, and material management strategies across the Asia Pacific operations. This role is pivotal to ensuring product availability, supplier performance, cost efficiency, and overall operational resilience in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with global operations, commercial teams, quality, and manufacturing to balance supply and demand, support new product introductions, and drive long-term sourcing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead End-to-End Supply and Demand Planning: Align with sales forecasts and production capabilities to ensure seamless delivery of products to customers.
  • Oversee Accurate MRP and Procurement Schedules: Ensure on-time delivery of materials and components to support customer demand.
  • Manage Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationships: Drive performance, negotiate contracts, and mitigate risk across the region.
  • Own Regional Procurement Function: Include cost analysis, vendor performance management, and category strategy development.
  • Collaborate with Global Teams: Ensure alignment with global standards while addressing local operational needs.
  • Leverage ERP and Planning Tools: Enhance visibility, reporting, and scenario planning to inform strategic decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ Years' Experience: In supply chain planning and procurement, preferably within scientific, medical device, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong Knowledge: Of demand planning, MRP, purchasing, and supplier management practices.
  • Proven Success: In strategic sourcing, cost negotiation, and contract/vendor performance management.
  • Deep Understanding: Of supply chain processes and interdependencies across Asia Pacific markets.
  • Experience Using ERP Systems: And analytical tools for forecasting and reporting.
  • Excellent Stakeholder Engagement: And communication skills across internal and external partners.
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline (APICS or CIPS certifications a plus).
