Role Overview

Care Managers play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality clinical care is consistently provided to residents, aligning with industry standards and organisational policies.

About This Position

This key leadership role involves providing guidance and support to clinical and personal care teams, collaborating closely with the Residential Manager to deliver high-quality resident outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing coaching and guidance to enhance resident care, adhering to Aged Care quality Standards and organisational policies.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to IPC policies and procedures.
  • Working collaboratively as 2nd in charge to the Residential Manager, supporting their decision-making and strategy development.
Requirements for Success
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care to elderly and vulnerable populations.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Thorough understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated experience working within residential aged care settings, particularly in leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and customer-centric skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Willingness to undergo a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
