Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at The Sporting Globe. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all meals are cooked to the highest standard, on time and to the venue's recipe and plating guides.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage kitchen operations, including staff allocation, section management and general kitchen duties.
  • Ensure that all meals are cooked to the highest standard, on time and to the venue's recipe and plating guides.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines.
  • Participate in the preparation, cooking and presentation of all menu items, with attention to detail and adherence to standards.
  • Clean and organise the kitchen and stock holding areas.
  • Ensure that all staff are following the kitchen cleaning systems and adhering to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
