Job Description:We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Culinary Operations Food Safety Specialist to join our team at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the stadium's food safety management system and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality food products that meet legislative and customer requirements.
About the Role:- Management of the HACCP Food Safety Program, working closely with senior management and operations teams to maintain the highest industry standards.
- Oversee and deliver food safety systems, processes, compliance, and allergen management, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Conduct internal Food Safety Audits, Risk Assessments, and inspections.
- Chair on-site food safety meetings and champion a strong food safety culture.
- Provide comprehensive reports including observations and recommendations.
- Manage site Food Safety incident investigations and risk management.
- A background in culinary operations is highly regarded.
- Expert knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP, and quality standards.
- Minimum 5 years experience working with a commercial food production/catering company.
- Experience in conducting and managing audits and reviews.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Competent in Microsoft applications and experience using food procurement/management software systems.
- Highly motivated with a flexible and adaptable working approach.
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as a generous leave package, opportunities for professional development, and a dynamic work environment.
